PFI is a leading non-governmental funding organization started in 1970 by a leading group of industrialists with late Mr JRD Tata as the Founder Chairman. Its main objective is to promote population stabilization and to play a leading role in the advocacy/supporting the cause, policies and action with the help of all stakeholders. The Additional Director will be responsible for activities of the Foundation which would include:

1) Identification of collaborative projects with NGOs and Corporate sector.
2) Monitoring evaluation and information-education-communication programmes.
3) Programmes with Government both at the national and state levels.
4) PFI’s own projects.
5) Setting up processes and systems in the organization.
6) Raising additional funds from national/international donor agencies for its activities.

The Additional Director will work under the overall guidance of the Executive Director.

Candidates should have advanced academic qualifications in social sciences/management/medical sciences/public health/community medicine and related disciplines with high level skills in population related programmes, data analysis as well as appropriate skills of general management. Candidates should have experience of at least ten years in the top management and administration of social development programmes at senior levels in academic, governmental, non-governmental or international organization and preferably be in the age group of 45- 55 years.

The post is contractual, initially for a period of 3 years and renewable on performance evaluation until the age of 65. The post carries a maximum total monthly package (CTC) including all perks in the range of Rs.1,00,000 to Rs 1,32,000 depending upon experience and caliber of the person.
